If you're vaccinated they're not. Was reported on twitter that at least one team made vaccines mandatory to travel to Omaha to avoid testing all together. If not vaccinated, then you get tested and then this scenario is possible.

Vanderbilt beats N.C. State, 3-1, to force another game tomorrow. Both teams had plenty of chances -- 25 total runners left on base. Start time tomorrow depends on the result of tonight's MSU/Texas game.

Dang, this thread may get political. Was not expecting that.

Also, that really sucks but damn if there isn't some ironic justice to it. NC State has just dropped their second game to covid. NC State is now 0-2 against covid all-time.

Texas managed to pull one out its ###, in spite of the coach doing his best to lose the game in the eighth. Pitcher should have been removed 3 batters earlier than he was.

Wow, all the things these guys will do for a competitive advantage but somehow they completely ignore this easy one.

But glad I just went to bed instead of trying to catch the end of that game.
