Looks like another flopping fine will be coming for Lebron. Hope he can swing that 10K penalty. That ought to curb the flopping epidemic.
The announcer called this team the Miami Cavaliers and he is spot on. No one out there wants to help LeBron at all.
We'll see. In real time I thought I looked like an overreaction, but I suppose it might look different on replay. At first look I thought the third and fourth rolls were probably George selling it rather than a result of the collision.
I guess I see that as a 100% different play than flopping, he's running toward the hoop and gets taken out...then sure maybe he rolled twice instead of once.
The typical LeFlop or Shane Battier Flop they're playing fake defense by pretending to defend then falling down violently backwards to draw a fake foul.
One is deception creating a foul out of nothing, the other is just selling a real foul that always goes on.
Plus lebron gets away with more than any other player in the league. He pretty much plays by the playground, no blood no foul rules.
They are both selling a real foul. One is a defensive foul and the other is an offensive foul.
I guess I just see it as six of one, a half dozen of the other. It's a matter of opinion, but I see flopping as exaggerated reaction to contact. Whether or not the contact is a legit foul is irrelevant.

Reggie Miller would make a distinction. Selling is an exaggerated reaction to actual, sometimes foul-like contact.
Flopping is a reaction that may or may not involve contact, but is always overly dramatic. For example, the classic LeBron-David West double flop in Game 5. Or the documented flops without contact.
Paul George could have rolled 72 times and it's still a foul because LeBron took him out while he was going full speed to the hoop and caused the wipeout.
If LeBron doesn't flop there is no call there.
Huge difference, one is a foul every single time regardless of the "rolling", the other is a foul almost entirely because of LeBron's acting.
Of course Reggie Miller would make a distinction, because if he didn't he'd have to admit to being the greatest flopper in league history. And I say that as a Reggie Miller fan.
