NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Am I the only one who hates the Bulls because of Hinrich still? I hold onto vengeance. I also am no fan of Noah. And I know some really obnoxious Bull fans.

2013 NBA Playoffs -- LeBron James of Miami Heat may guard Nate Robinson of Chicago Bulls - ESPN Chicago

Good read here...interesting move by Spoelstra if true. The notion of sticking your best defender on the other team's best offensive threat seems like a no brainer, but it kind of smells like a panic move at the same time to defensively game plan around a career 43% shooter from the field.

Look at the Bulls current lineup. What would you do? I would do whatever to take away the best offensive player on the other team. That is now Robinson. Take him out and the Heat should win.

Also, when is it desperation to do what it takes to limit scoring? Outside of going to Hack a Asik or whatever that Scott Brooks went to. Changing matchups isn't desperation. It's saying that i think this guy can hurt us most and outside of him scorers may be limited so let's shut him down.

I actually moved up here as a Jazz fan, so I've always loathed the Bulls. But it is tough for me to root against Joakim Noah. That guy plays as hard as any NBA player I've ever watched. **** D-Rose, but Noah is awesome.

Kirk playing for the bulls has lessened my hate for him. Add to it that Floyd gave kirk to Roy so the person to hate is Timmy. If you hate Noah you have a problem with life. All that guy does is bust his *** day in and day out. He's playing on one foot while a healthy d-rose sits on the bench in a suit.

Also, how awesome would it be if adidas released an update to the "All In for D Rose" commercial? You know, the one where it cycles through random scenes of Chicagoans in despair while the audio from the broadcast of the Derrick Rose injury plays in the background? Then it switches to shots of Derrick Rose working out, and finally, to Chicago Stadium and D-Rose walking into the floor while the crowd cheers?

How awesome would it be to add five more seconds to it, with D-Rose in a really expensive suit, sitting down at the end of the bench? Great comeback, man. You're awesome.

Rose picked wrong city to act like a *****. He's right there with cutler for biggest **$$* in Chicago.

Noah is the type of player that fans of his team love and fans of other teams hate. The guy is a maniac on the court. He really is the heart and soul of this Bulls team. They'd have a harder time replacing him for a season than they have had replacing Rose.

Noah is my favorite NBA player and agree totally that he'd be harder to replace than D-Rose. A center that puts up 15 points 10 rebounds every night and distributes the balll, and wins nearly every 50-50 ball he goes for. In addition he plays lockdown D. Pretty rare, hated the pick at the time when he was coming out of florida.

I get tired of Noah flapping his mouth and he seems pretty dirty down low, although granted, so does every big guy in the NBA. Also tire of watching the hairdo, which makes Chris Andersen's look good. He has certainly perfected the shove in the small of the back and the back climb to get his boards.

First, taking him out of the game doesn't guarantee a win. The Heat should have won Game 1 based on all of Chicago's injured players. Second, why make your best player work that much harder on defense chasing around the smaller and quicker Nate Robinson when you clearly need more from him at the offensive end, especially when you know that Robinson is the kind of player who could go 5 of 20 from the floor or 10 of 20 from the floor regardless of who's guarding him? Third, Chicago kicked Miami's *** on the boards in game 1. You're not going to remedy that by taking James further away from the basket. Fourth, I didn't call it a desperation move. I said it kind of smelled like a panic move. Why not stick with the matchups you had in Game 1, and if Robinson is still hot then you make the in game adjustment.

In order for James to guard Nate, the Heat would have to go with their "big" lineup. So in actuality, it would probably help their rebounding. Doing this would probably hurt their offensive production though.

Lets go Bulls tonight!! How sweet would it be to get the Heat down 2-0. Likely won't happen, but would be cool. After saying that, I expect the Heat to win by 15 tonight.

Raise your hand if before the series began you thought we'd be talking about the adjustments MIAMI would have to make in Game 2.

Yes, yes, I can see you CyJack. Sit the **** down.

I'll never forget when we drafted him. I was like WTF? But the guy has become my 3rd favorite bull after mj and scottie
