I am still pi..ed that we scheduled K-St. in KC instead of a home and home the past two years. We would have won the home game and either gone to a better bowl (last year) or a bowl (this year). Oh well, we beat KU bad, CU by 10 and CPR upsets one of the others. Maybe McCarney's revenge on Mizzou.

I now it's partially the Kool-Aid after a big win, but we're 3-0 at home and have 4 home games still on the schedule. After seeing AA last night none of the road games seem all that scary. CPR said his team grew up last night and I believe him.

I went with Utah, Kansas, and Missouri.
I just get a feeling that we will be tough to beat at home, while I don't like our chances on the road very much.
I think it is just as likely, or maybe more likely, that we get a win at home against Utah or Nebraska than it is that we steal one on the road from Colorado. Just my gut feeling.
Colorado beat Georgia last night in Boulder. Not bad, but Georgia is now 1-4. ESPN ripped on CU's fans for storming the field after beating a 1-4 team... as they should.

NU comes in after a 17-3 showing over South Dakota State on NU homecoming??!?!!?!? I honestly look for Nebbie to lose their next 3, @K-State, Texas and @Okie State. Then they come back north to rebound against Mizzou (a nice rivalry game) then us. They'll be pretty beat up by then.

This is the same as me, I'm back on track with my 6-6 prediction since I had TTech as a loss but had KSU as a win.
We have 3 wins, one we'll be favorites in at home for 4 wins. A toss up game or slight underdog game @CU for 5. Then we have to come up with a mild home upset of Missouri or a big home upset of Utah or Nebraska. @OU is looking slim, but hopefully we can at least make a competitive game of @Texas

Check out my Sagarin thread about Nebraska, they've yet to really play anyone. Nevada has been more impressive with a tougher schedule so far. Sagarin is still using small amounts of last year's data I believe or Nevada would be in front of Nebraska.
I think after the 3 everyone is picking, Nebraska in Ames is the 4th most likely win, more likely than Utah this week.
If we play like we did last night I see only one team we absolutely cant beat on the schedule and thats OU, they just dont lose at home. But this team is getting better weekly, which is could be a factor as the season rolls on.
Colorado has been looking like a trap game to me the whole year. It's winnable, but Colorado is a tough place to play due to elevation, and we haven't had the best luck there in the past.
That said, it's a game we are not only capable of winning, but one Paul Rhoads will have the team in the right frame of mind to win. It's a question of execution instead of ability, and that's at least refreshing.

So do we root for NU to beat KSU this Thurs which leaves us the chance to beat NU. This still puts us in the North title hunt. Or am I getting ahead of myself?

You're probably getting ahead of yourself. But since the North race is far from decided, and you asked:
Probably root for Nebraska. ISU won't hold a tiebreaker vs. KSU, and would need to beat NU to have a shot at being better than 5-3 (a shot at beating Texas, probably not OU). So KSU would need to have at least 3 losses.
KSU has Texas and Oklahoma State, but those games are at home. Baylor is on the road but I think KSU can get that.
NU has Texas at home, OSU and A&M on the road.
This is ignoring the possibility that Missouri is in the discussion, too.
It's far too early to worry about other opponents' results and how they may affect divisional races ... then again, since ISU is bound to need some help, regardless, every week counts.
Let's try to get to at least 5-3, then if tiebreakers work out, it's gravy.
Colorado is quietly 3-1. That includes a win over Georgia. Granted, Georgia is down, but its Colorado. Id never have picked them to beat an SEC team.
And we play AT Colorado. That's tough for us. Id feel better if we had them at home.
