Coolest name ever
Glover lived on my floor (Storms Tower), didn't really interact with/know him. A couple of memories though: Riding up a semi crowded elevator during parents weekend someone on the ride up to 7th floor dropped a prescription medicine vial full of pre-rolled joints. Glover noticed it and said "Sh*t man, is that weed? He then reached down, grabbed it up, and stuffed it into his pocket. I'm not sure the parents onboard envisioned this as a positive experience visiting their sons that weekend.. When the team ran out on the field prior to the game, Glover was last in line, and probably knowing he wouldn't see the field, he appeared to be fully prepped to enjoy the game regardless :D:D. Yes, we had our Glover, but image coach would have traded with Nebraska for theirs (Rich Glover) who played during the same era.

Don Griswold, one of the heroes at the Battle of Midway. He was halfback for Iowa State and sank a Japanese ship and didn’t survive the battle. USS Griswold was named after him.
Thanks to Mike Green for the info.
