I enjoyed my free stream of the fights. If it weren't for that I wouldn't watch.
Then IMO you shouldn't watch.
If it's a 'fight night' or ESPN+ fight I don't have as much issue with folks 'free streaming'; but for fighters on a PPV card that is how they make their bread and butter to support their families. In a sport where freak injuries are common place a fighter may only have a handful of opportunities to get a big pay-day by being part of a PPV card. The fighter's already struggle with pay, retirement benefits, medical care, etc. when compared to many other 'high major sports' because the UFC doesn't have the same networking/advertisement deals as the NBA/MLB/NFL do.
As a casual fan I used to be the same way - that was before I had the opportunity to interact with folks who were mostly retired fighters, retired coaches, and a few current athletes (Curtis Blaydes, Alister Overeem, Justin Gaethje)... seeing what their reality is, opened my eyes to how I was literally taking food off their tables and money from their pockets.
You do you man, it's America. But I'd encourage anyone who thinks streaming a UFC PPV is a 'victimless' crime to reconsider their position. As for me I am now far more conscious of the cards I pay for because it is expensive to continually shell out cash on the events, but there are creative ways to hide the cost while supporting PPV buys - pool amongst friends, be a patron at a bar/restaurant which paid for the PPV to encourage them to do so in the future, etc.
