Should have come to ISU could of been a starter not just a very seldom used sub! We could have used his shooting! Glad I couldn't watch this game! Go ESPN +!

It is rather interesting that he chose to spend his final collegiate season rotting on a bench. A team that isn't very deep at that, but very good. I guess he maybe cares more about winning?

Did he ever say why he left Iowa?

Given their current injury situation he surely would have seen better minutes then KU. AND, he would have had the opportunity to get beat by Nebraska.

I would guess he wanted a shot at the NBA and figured he would get better coaching/development and better visibility to scouts at KU.

Funny if he thought that he would stand out at a place like KU where he is surrounded by 4 and 5 star athletes. Understandable that he'd leave Iowa in the interest of having an NBA career though. Hate to say it, but he just doesn't have that next level talent. His first couple years at Iowa, I always had a good chuckle in the spring when I'd hear that he had his name in the draft.

He wanted to get better. Props for him for not just chasing playing time. He was big for them a couple games ago and I imagine he have some games where he goes off for them from 3. He is averaging 20 minutes a game so isn't like he is rotting on the bench.

He's a guy we made fun of on this board from the time he was recruited at Iowa. He's the same player now he was for the Hawks. Very occasionally, he'll go off and have a big game. But outside that, he would shrink up and be a non-contributor most games. And as a coach, you couldn't trust him at the end of games because of his turnovers and just dumb plays. He's obviously not NBA talent, but can see why he'd go to Kansas to chase the dream if they'd have him.

This guy gets it. I wasn't really disappointed when he left. In hindsight, I'd like to have him back now due to injuries, etc.
