So people will pay more for some of these mushrooms than a really good steak (or just about anything else I can think of)? :shocked:

Do they reverse the signs of aging and make your ***** bigger, or what?

You can't grow them apparently. They only taste good in the wild and they are annual and hard to find.

Many many Springs ago, we were out on our annual mothers day walk with the neighbors and stumbled upon a massive bunch of morels, hundreds of them, we ate our fill and then some and still had many gallon zip lock bags left over. Never have we found even remotely close to the number we found that year. Went to the exact same spot the next year and there were still quite a few but probably only 10% of what we found the year before. Year after that there was 1. Since then enter haven't had much luck.
