I blame myself, I didnt bring my lucky cardinal shamrock hat home with me this weekend. That hat won us the series last year and as dirty and smelly as it is I refused to part with it. Then I left Ames without the hat and the team can't hit and started making stupid errors. If we don't make the series I will burn the hat at work to right every wrong I caused Cardinal Nation.

I am very superstitious. This hat I still wear to work should be burned but I bought it in St Louis last year during the magical run to the title and I can not get rid of it until the Cards are eliminated. The wife refuses to touch the hat it that bad.

I agree with him. I want him gone but it will be tough to find a good replacement.

Which is exactly why they need to hold on to him. He's an average/good third baseman they'd be paying a SHLOAD of money to play for someone else in addition to having to pay another third baseman.

Granderson and Swisher however...they need to go.

I don't even know if I'm going to be able to watch game 7 tonight. I'm just happy there IS a game 7 and that a chance to advance remains. If the big bats can finally get going for the first time this entire postseason, Cain can get it done.
