This game I'm not too hurt because I grew up hating the Braves. However Cards over kill is starting to set in with me, they are the yanks of the National League. Go Nats!

One thing I have never gotten to see in my lifetime is a Cardinals-Yankees series. Would love to see it. Almost had one in 2004. Of course, would want Cardinals to win.

If the Nats had Roy Oswalt on their roster, I'd be concerned.

Because Wainwright, Carpenter, Loeshe and Lynn are such terrible pitchers. The differences is that those four have significant playoff experience.

Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels, and Roy Oswalt had plenty of significant playoff experience too. It's not the causal factor.

Not saying they would have won, but that call dramatically effected the game.

This new playoff system is flawed. Hate it. Braves had a bad night defensively... a team that is very very good in the field. No reason a playoff situation should be dealt with with one game when you play 162 during the season.

I think it comedically effected the game.

that call was bs but it was the 3 errors from the braves that destroyed them. Hopefully the reds or giants can stop the cardinals(doubt the nats can)

He did; I think it was a 1-0 game, IIRC. I remember Oswalt ******** the bed in his start, though.

This would be great, but Cards would struggle against the Yankees, and I would rather they not have to play them. Awful call in that game, but I will take it.

And the Cardinals didn't sweep the Phil's. It was 3-2 and the final game was 1-0 and one of the greatest playoff pitching duels of all time. You are not making your case for the Nats sweeping the Cards. It won't happen. Nats may win, but not in a sweep.
