Not sure about a nuke plant but the Dow Chemical headquarters Is in Midland. They produce a bunch of chem products up there.

What could go wrong?

I did see on CNN that DOW said the entire plant has activated their flood plan, and all lines have been safely shut down. I really hope they planned for a worst case scenario.

Chernobyl planned for the worst...but plans are only as good as the people that enact them, and the people that designed the mechanisms to safeguard against the people enacting the plans.
