??? I'm sure ISU and the Big 12 appreciate banking Huggins' NCAA tournament $$$...Hope they'll go for Huggins. I could live without 'press Virgina' in the conference.

Hasn't Mack already said no?Well, Ohio State can forget trying to lure someone like Chris Mack after that swing-and-miss. They'll have to go internally or go with a mid-/low-major sleeper at this point.
Mack, Holtmann, S.Miller, A.Miller, Fred and GMac have all reportedly turned down the job and I am guessing Gregg Marshall has as well.Hasn't Mack already said no?
I can't see Huggins even considering the tOSU job.
Chris Holtmann from Butler accepts the job at $3.1 million/year!

I think MacDerrMutt learned from his Iowa State experience and decided that for him, things don't get much better than a mid-major/minor. Why leave where you are comfortable?
8 years, wow
.....with all the money that OSU can throw around, you'd think they'd be having an easier time.
Stunning. The offer surprised me, and the refusal even more.

3.1 for 8 years for an up and comer. He'll probably make more if he is successful. I'd say that is a pretty good paying head coaching job. Does that rank 4th in the BIG? It might even be 3rd highest in big 10.The "THE" in Ohio State University is a little over-rated when it comes to basketball. It's just not that great a job and the lack of interest shows their money doesn't mean much in the hoops arena.
