Matt Campbell to Penn State??

I can’t see Campbell pillaging the roster the same way Lane Kiffin is going to rob Ole Miss but I imagine some guys will probably follow. Rocco would be the obvious transfer.

If there were more money to squeeze out I think he'd do that. Problem is he just took a pay cut to give his assistants more money. Pollard is great at his job in getting what he can from the big donors. There's just nothing left to squeeze.
 
My guess is this. Campbell knows the details/pain his departure would cause to the FB program and all involved. A really big mess. Could set us back years. Major stress on Pollard and new President. And we are looking at a potential for a very nice 26 season. He won't do it.

Matt has it made here runs his program how he wants signed a great class, makes great money to develop young men which he’s said is important to him. Won’t have that at pedo state they only give a **** about winning. Pedo state is cut from a different cloth. will he stay who knows, but you got it made here.

Yeah, I meant why he may take a job like PSU, to raise all their values too.
 
CMC is like 40+.
No family ties to Iowa, tho certainly has developed luv of sorts for ISU.
Whatever issues surround the current Unhappy Valley situation, Matt would likely welcome the challenge + op....and deep, deep NIL pockets.
I think Matt would be an idiot to pass on this, while "doubling-ish" his salary.
Anybody here that thinks Matt will be here forever?
Naive thought.

For those wondering. Hooters was started by a few guys. One died in like 2008. Drost is still alive and I believe a few other minority type owners and I have no idea who they are to be honest.
