VH in my view is more of a fun loving band that didn’t take themselves so seriously as a real hair band.
I was in HS when VH had their first hits. Back then they looked pretty bad ass but I felt that in the 80's David Lee Roth started letting his ego get in the way and started his accent into becoming annoying and flaky. He got into spandex and ripped shirts as you see in the pic above and that was a little too much for my taste. It's too bad because he was a great front man. Their first two albums were awesome IMO.

I said favorite, not top 10 favorite.

I’m not sure I can single out a favorite.

If you put a gun to my head and said you can pick one band for the rest of your life, it’s probably the Stones - pretty main stream. That said, over the past 10 years, I’ve listened to Drive-By Truckers and Turnpike Troubadours more than any other bands, and I think most people would file them under obscure.

Where they love the governor
Lord I’m getting old. At least Van Halen was mentioned. The good old days of Rush, Bad Company and CCR are gone. What the heck is a 21 Savage? Lol

Looks like there are a few coaches out there keeping CCR in the rotation...

Chris Petersen, Washington – Creedence Clearwater Revival
Ed Orgeron, LSU – Creedence Clearwater Revival

I'm not the biggest DMB fan but live...they are great. If someone hadn't seen them live, I could understand they might not love them.

Best I've ever heard them live is when they had John Popper play harmonica with them
