Agree with everyone. Very enjoyable first episode! It's nice coming into some of these shows not really knowing much

Ever since Endgame I've been asking for new stuff. Sounds bad but they need to start developing their actual roster of guys. Nothing against guys like Anthony Mackie or anything but we've seen better in the same role. Give us something new and sprinkle in the old. Don't give us the old and sprinkle new, IMO it doesn't work as well.

Same with like Boba Fett (The Mid-dalorian) versus Mando. We don't know Mando so it's exciting to see him. We've seen Boba be better even in limited time so it's hard to get juiced to watch him.
Totally agree. It held up for the second viewing, and may have even been better.
It looks like a really good, quirky coming of age story.

The other thing is I think some of us were a little worried casting a total unknown as Kamala, but the actor playing her is great. I mean really, really good and the Bruno kid is good too.

On paper, I think a Thunderbolts movie sounds fun, but weirdly when I look at that lineup, my interest kind of shifts toward meh.
I think it could be interesting on team dynamics alone. Zemo basically hates super soldiers and the team is filled with them. Bucky and US Agent have a tenuous relationship at best. Taksmaster is basically a robot, unless they give her a personality.

It will all come down to who or what they are brought together to fight, but it basically looks like they are going for a Suicide Squad vibe.

Good to know there is a post-credits scene. Is there anything so far to say she is an Inhuman like she is in the comics? Prior to Multiverse of Madness, I would have guessed they would shy away from her being an Inhuman, but afterwards due to things in that movie, I'm more uncertain. Might want to put a spoiler tag on a response.
Speculations I’ve seen?

A. The male agent in the post credit scene is a Skrull. B. He recognizes the tech as Kree technology. C. This ties to the comment in Far From Home about “Kree sleeper cells”. D. One source sad the Kree were the source of the terragen(sp?) mist that creates Inhumans. I’m no expert on the subject. E. The aura that surrounded her when she put on the bracelet MAY have been that terragen mist.

FYI... that guy in the post-credit scene works for Damage Control and has appeared already in that role during Spider-Man: No Way Home. He is the guy who interrogates Peter Parker.

I thought how they filmed Ms. Marvel was really well done. You know pretty much immediately that the target audience for this is younger than many of the other installments. I watched it with my 14 year old daughter and thought it was fun. The cast was put together well and refreshing, honestly.

If you go into this expecting Infinity War CGI, you're going to be disappointed. There are going to be some things about the script that aren't as fluid and transitional as some would like, but if you go into it knowing that the target audience isn't 30-50 year old males, you'll do yourself a favor. I'd compare it to something more like a Disney show (Lab Rats/KC Undercover) with much better actors, dialogue and budget.

I'd be lying if I told you I was particularly excited to see Ms. Marvel, simply because it just didn't look up my alley. With that said, I saw it and while I still am not sure its fully my cup of tea, I'll admit that I do think it is well-done with good writing, good actors and fun characters. I'll say the lead girl is winning me over for sure, but some of my favorite characters are actually some of the side ones, most particularly her brother and her buddy Bruno. The only thing I'm somewhat unsure of so far is her power set. I need to see more to determine yay or nay.

To contrast, I was EXTREMELY looking forward to the Obi-Wan series, and for the most part, I've found it to be a steaming pile of crap. Sometimes expectations of what will be good or not don't match reality. Such a waster of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan. Ms Marvel is clearly better so far.

I find myself looking at my phone when Obi-Wan is on. Plot is just non-sense

I did not like the Ms. Marvel premiere. The acting was good, but the material and presentation seems super derivative of other existing properties. Not sure if I’ll keep watching.

Now that I think about it I don't believe the Blu-Ray had a deleted scenes segment, did it?
