It changes a lot from property to property, but basically the job is taking photos of assets and then adapting them to 3D plush toys or figurines, taking graphics and applying them to packaging. Sometimes it's very literal work nitpicking, other times you end up making something almost from scratch. The little figures here have exaggerated heads so it became something completely from scratch, the plush toys are pretty inventive and require a lot of creativity...sometimes we even have to get actors agents to sign off on likeness which is crazy when you're talking about a 3mm "face" on a tiny figure...it's actually a reason to prefer characters with masks or face makeup. For that Spiderman scene I showed with vulture the studio was really involved and had us putting him in all kinds of situations in the clouds before settling on that.
