The one criticism I can understand is considering it's his show, Daredevil took a pretty big backseat to the Punisher.

Still, Jon Bernthal is the perfect actor to play the Punisher, though it seems as if he's starting to get typecast as the ultra-dark, brooding bad@#$

honestly, I could have done without Electra and the Hand, the season was already too busy setting up the Punisher.

I agree with this. I actually didn't like DD2 as well as season 1 or JJ. I think it WOULD have been better if they kept focus on the Punisher storyline. Towards the end there was too much going on with Electra and The Hand and the storylines didn't mesh together well in my opinion.

I was the other way - I could have done without the Blacksmith storyline. That felt forced and the reveal was really obvious. That could have been left to simmer for another season. I felt like that a missed opportunity - that could have been a really great reveal had it been
the Kingpin. It would have shown how his authority now stretches outside of the prison, and would have been a great double-cross to have the Punisher both miss his chance to kill him AND take out his competition

I think the Hand is probably going to play a part in Iron Fist, so that made some sense in focusing on their backstory - no matter how bizarre it was in retrospect/

I actually appreciated that the Elektra and Punisher storylines were pretty much completely separate and the writers didn't bend over background to merge them into a single storyline at the end. Agree that the Blacksmith thing was obvious, but that was more of an epilogue for The Punisher's story, so I didn't mind it.

Re: Foggy, I agree with 3Gen, that I actually liked Foggy quite a bit more in this season in that he had his own arc and wasn't just going along with Matt the whole time as in Season 1. I have no problem with the actor.

You guys raise some good points on Foggy as I do like how he has had some of his own moments this season where he took over himself rather than being a little stepbrother of Matt all the time. Also, probably the time I didn't like him the most was in Season 1 when he finally found out about Matt as Daredevil. That whole thing was pretty terrible and annoying acting in my opinion. So, good to hear everyone liked him more overall in Season 2.

So, I saw Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation last night for the first time and I walked away from it with a new Top 3 for who I'd like Marvel to cast as the new Captain Marvel:

1. Rebecca Ferguson
2. Rebecca Ferguson
3. Rebecca Ferguson

Doctor Strange Trailer is also going to premier on Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday.

Im hesitantly optimistic about that one. BC is a great actor and will put his all into it so that gives me hope. Lets pray the director and writers know whats what.

Yeah, with Marvel constantly taking chances on lesser-known directors, you never quite know what you are going to get with many of these movies outside of ones where Marvel brings back previous directors. I guess we'll see what we get with Dr. Strange, but at least Marvel has a pretty good track record of choosing the right guys for the job. Granted, there have been a few hiccups along the way too. Truthfully though, I'm more worried about the new Spider-Man solo movie director than the Dr. Strange one. I get that they are going for more of a Breakfast Club high school comedy with that one, but beings how that director's latest credit to his name was the new National Lampoon's Vacation movie, I can't say that I'm impressed.

Well, the new shows just keep rolling out with the newest one being a Cloak and Dagger TV series on the Freeform network (formerly ABC Family)

I will say that being on this Freeform network definitely makes me a little nervous. A lot of AOS's problems, particularly in the first season, was due to the prime time TV restrictions that come with being on network televisions. The show just had too much of that network TV family-oriented sitcomy cheese that was just a bit too heavy to be a part of the overall MCU. I will say that show has improved a ton on that front though, and I do really like AOS now, but it definitely had a rough start. Regardless, I now sit here and ask myself how bad things could be on that front with now being on a pure outright family network when straight ABC is already bad enough in that category.

It's comical that you think Freeform (former ABC Family) is a family network. Look at that lineup of shows, look at the movies that screen, and tell me what is family-friendly about any of them?! I'm of the opinion that they changed the name from "ABC Family" in the first place because even they finally realized how hypocritical the name was.

That is bizarre. I was just talking to a friend earlier this week about other possible Marvel Netflix shows. Cloak and Dagger was one of the handful I brought up.

Glad you brought that to my attention as I don't have cable and have never even seen the new Freeform network, much less know what shows on it. I guess I just assumed that since it was what used to be ABC Family that they kept somewhat with the same types of stuff. With looking at their inventory online, it almost just seems more like an ABC2, or maybe even closer, ABC's version of the CW. With that said, I still can't say I'm too impressed with any of those shows on there right now, so if they do in fact do Cloak and Dagger on there, they better step up their game. In their defense, I guess I thought the same thing about the CW before Arrow arrived to it and they did step up their game for Arrow.

There has been a guy over on comicbookmovie.com claiming to know the future planned lineup for Marvel shows, even prior to this announcement and here is his list:

* Darkhawk (Netfix)
* Hawkeye "not much info about it".Aperently it has something to do with falshback(s)? (netfilx)
* Wierdworld (TV)
* Shang-Chi master in kung fu (netflix)
* Deathlock (don't know much about him,never read his comics) (netflix)

OK,Here my favorite ones (also confirmed).

* Spider-Woman (Netflix)
* Moonknight (Netfix)
* Blade (Netflix) finaly ooh lord!!Cam't belive its actuly happening!
* Runaways (Netflix)
* Ms.Marvel (Netflix)
* Cloak and Dagger (Netflix)* (ABC)
(Taskmaster confiremd on Marvel's Most Wanted show.Its a spinoof of the Agents of shield i belive.

Who knows whether he is just full of crap or not, but I guess he isn't too far off with this Cloak and Dagger announcment.

It's a good assumption. But when you show "Pretty Little Liars" and "Young & Hungry" you are not a family-friendly network. I'm also sorry if my first post about it came across crass, I didn't mean it to be.

There's no way all those shows could survive at once.

I don't think the guy is claiming that they will all be on at the same time, but rather that this is just the future checklist for shows that are in the works down the line. For example, I'm assuming all those Netflix shows will be post-Defenders.

I will say this that many of those aren't too outlandish sounding and have even had some talking in the background going about these for years. Here are a few examples:

Hawkeye Netflix series - I heard an interview once asking Jeremy Renner if he would be interested in a Hawkeye TV show and he said he would be totally on board if they wanted to do that

Runaways Netflix series - I'm pretty sure that a while back there were already plans to do a Runaways show on ABC, but they eventually decided to nix the idea

Blade - I know there has been multiple interviews with Wesley Snipes about whether he would want to reprise his role as Blade, which he was all in for, and he even said he has discussed the possibility with Marvel. There also was lots of talk about a new show about Blade's daughter where Snipes came in as the older father.

Deathlock - I think this idea sounds pretty stupid beings how he has been a cast member on Agents of Shield for a while now and I don't see him being a compelling enough character to be given his own show. However, his character IS already out there, so this would be more of the spinoff variety like Marvel's Most Wanted is.
