Hey Everyone,

At the end of the FB season, the Marching Band members fill out season evaluation cards, and one of the things that is always asked of us is suggestions for music for the next year. SO...I'm asking all of YOU if you have any suggestions on stuff you'd like to hear us play next year, and I'll relay the more popular requests on my sheet, and probably talk to the director about it in person as well.

Keep in mind that our shows typically follow some sort of theme (Movie Soundtracks, TV Shows, etc.) so any themes you'd like to see us explore can be suggested as well.

If you have suggestions for stand tunes, feel free to list those here, too.

I'm interested to see where this goes...

The cartoon theme songs show was awesome. When you guys played "That's what Brian Boytano'd do" the student section went hysterical. That was probably my favorite show over my three years thus far.

However, I walk by the practice field on my way home every day and am very much looking forward to the show this weekend

Woohoo Post #100

Loved the super hero one last year. Go figure.

What about songs from the '80s? Everytime Bon Jovi is played the crowd really gets into it.

I could really do without the Spanish themes or something that nobody knows. I think you have to play to the crowd and play something they want or know.

I think we need to bring baseball back. They should wear blue uniforms and the intro music should be Jourey when then come on the field. Oh yeah, Coach Mac rules.

the star trek one this year was LAME...no more ship formations and cardboard skits.

Well, if this wasn't a hijacking attempt...

You can blame our Director mostly for that one. He would be considered by most to be a Treky and he had been wanting to do a Star Trek Show for years. Sorry we can only influence him so much.

I liked the south park stuff, that was funny.

The star trek one was so dorky that I actually laughed. Maybe it was the geek in front of me that stood up right away and yelled: "KKKKAAAAHHHHNNNN!!!!!"

Shut UP!!! You did that to? I thought I was being funny but everyone around me just looked at me.

It owuld have been funnier if my wife would have been there. She would have been so embarrassed of me.

I think there was only like 3 people in our section that thought it was funny. But I laughed pretty hard.

So what section do you sit in? Was it you that I was laughing at?

I do this during basketball, too...any time Sasha Kaun's name is said over the PA. I've been trying to get other people in the pep band to do this.
