Being a 5 star as a High School sophomore is more of a projection if the players skills reach their potential of size and speed. Depending on the severity of his injuries it can delay his expected development. Part of 5 star status is if the player has day 1 impact potential as a freshman which could be delayed with not playing for a long period. I suspect they are being conservative (3*) on his ranking until he can be re-evaluated.
He looks like a SF to me.....Exactly, he was a 6'5" 15yr old power forward and now he's a 6'6" 170# 17yr old power forward with at least two injuries and he missed almost an entire year of basketball. The reason he's listed as a 3* is b/c he once was a 5*. He could certainly rise in the rankings once some evaluation of his skill set on the other side of his injuries resume.
247 Still has him as a 4* and a top 75 playerSo on Rivals he went from a 5-star to an unranked 3-star just because he got hurt? That seems a bit harsh from Rivals and all the recruiting sites.

The top corner of the card if you don't see it.From Leech's snap chat.
Lardesque?Can confirm.
We've got 3 scholarships right for 2019? I can't see any downside to taking this kid. I think with how Prohm invests in kids he could really bring this guy along.

Looks like there have been different reports on what his injury was and how severe it was. Some say stress fracture, some say compound fracture. Saw he was also kicked off his HS team this year.
