Looking for a New Mattress

My parents just bought a DreamCloud Premier Hybrid King. 365 days to try it out. If you end up not liking it, they'll come and get it for a return. The price is pretty reasonable I think.

This Tom's Guide link has some good info on their mattress picks. The DreamCloud was highly rated here.

As noted from earlier in this thread, we got a DreamCloud 3 years ago. It was a Classic hybrid, not Premier one. It's been really good.

I was able to get a deal on my current (very old) mattress as I knew a guy who was managing a store at the time. Its past time to replace and yikes. Have loved the latex and starting to look around for those. Lots of cheap 'memory foam' around but those are pretty hot in my limited experience.

Zinus Support Plus 12" King Euro Top Medium Hybrid Mattress with Comfort Foam and Pocket Springs.

Bought that off Walmart.com just now. $200. Supposed to be delivered tomorrow. We'll give it the 3 days to expand and see how it goes. It has a 90 day return period. I can haul it back to our local store if we don't like it.

we have a Serta and all three kids were conceived on it so it can take a beating. It is time to get a new one though but 25 years ain’t bad.

I've found that I actually sleep much better in a recliner. Don't snore, back doesn't hurt, no heart burn, wake up less often through the night, etc. I've gotten to where it's now hard to sleep on a flat mattress. Almost feels like my feet are higher than my head.
