My brother-in-law has it and has been dealing with negative effects for several years now. He was seeing a doctor in Minnesota but the progress was slow. He started going to Ballenger Chiropractic in West Des Moines and he has seen a lot more progress there.

I dealt with the same symptoms you did for years. What helped me was supplementation of Uridine and Longvida Curcumin (great anti-inflammatory).

Give the two a try. You have my sympathy.

Have you cut gluten from your diet? I've read a lot about it being a big issue.

A relative had it. It took 6 months to get most of her energy back and almost 2 years before she felt like there weren't going to be any more setbacks. It's a long process but it will improve over time. Don't push yourself too hard.

I did in college but it never made a big difference for me. Same with dairy. I really don't eat many carbs to begin with though.

A friend from my ISU days has had chronic symptoms from Lyme disease for years. She has actually used bee venom therapy to reduce the symptoms. She talks about it a bit on her nutritional business' website.

That's me. 3 years ago I had some issues that 6 different Dr. visits and 3 different specialists couldn't figure out. WebMD was the worst thing I could ever look at. Overtime things kind of got better on their own (had a prescription for a little while), but man that was scary. It consumed my brain 24/7.

An acquaintance from college has been dealing with Lyme disease for a while now. He documents his journey, struggles and successes here:

Maybe you'll find something useful. Seems like a lot of it is diet related.
