I have not ever seen or heard NDSU fans say they will lose at Coughlin. An away game at SDSU is nearly a home game as NDSU has 7K to 10K fans at their place. Come on over to our messageboard(s) cyclone fans and discuss. Bisonville Forums - Powered by vBulletin is the primary fan site and there is a smaller one called http://bisonsports.net. I am SDbison over there. Hope to see some of you cyclone fans at the tailagate area. Come on over and have a beer and a jagbomb with me. I will be back here after the game (a day or so later) to discuss regardless of outcome.

Probably the same SDSU fans that thought they were going to roll over us last year. At least Superbunny was cool about it (man I miss him). I just think it's funny that Minnesota fans think that this year's ISU team would roll over that year's Minnesota team...

I think it's funny that you take the word of one disgruntled Minnesota fan that had his FBS goofer team throttled by a transitional FCS team. As stated many times before, ISU should win this game, but NDSU has a pretty good chance of making it a good game. Even though you guys want to compare NDSU to SDSU that is a mistake and you all know it. Actually, the outcome of this game will be interesting. If NDSU gets beat worse than SDSU last year I will have much concerns about where NDSU football is currently headed.

See I just want you guys to make up your mind. You have half your fans on here saying NDSU is going to win outright, no question about it. The other half is saying NDSU will give us a good game.

In reality, the ones saying a close game are probably the correct ones. I believe we are going to start pretty slow in this game like last year vs SDSU and win going away. Probably play our starters more than we would like.

What I get tired of, and I think others agree, is how one second you guys are beating the drum of how well you have played against your limited D-IA competition but then when the heat is on you just ask for a good game.

Please, make up your mind and do it in a fashion that is above trolling.

And Clone fans, seriously, you are making us look bad. I thought we were above this.

Or, perhaps they were as bad as that poster claimed. After all, they were 1-11 and lost each game that season by an average of 37-25.

The fact is NDSU has never beat an FBS by a significant margin, but then neither has a FBS team beaten NDSU by a significant margin. Limited data points as we only have 5 though.
I think I have been pretty consistent here, as have most other visiting NDSU posters. I may have missed it, but I have not seen any post from an NDSU fan claiming a sure thing NDSU victory. The reason why more NDSU fans are not here is due to past issues with some getting out of hand at gopherhole. In general, Bisonville frowns on posters coming over here, but I think it adds to the fun of an upcoming game if visiting fans are reasonable. Again there has been very little obnoxious stuff so far even though some cyclone fans think so. So if you don't want NDSU fans here unless we only glorify ISU maybe you don't want any visitors.

Still have to take the victory in context.......NDSU was a TRANSITIONAL FCS team with 21 less scholarship players and a much smaller football budget. Still a significant victory.
 
Oh please, NDSU dominated the GOPHER team if you look at the stats, AND NDSU dominated Central Michigan 44-10 in their stadium and that team WON the MAC and GMAC Bowl.

Im not going to say NDSU wins by 20.

however. I believe NDSU will win, and Im here to educated and keep you informed of NDSU so you guys its not so shocking for your fanbase.
 
I have not read any of this thread. However is there really a Bison Nation? Because before we scheduled this game I did not even know this school existed. So your Nation is doing a poor job of promoting itself.

You Bison boys are drunk if you honestly think you will beat the Clones in their own house. Didn't you guys lose to SDSU last year? The same SDSU that ISU had no trouble with last year? 9 of the 11 starters are back and everyone at the skill positions are back on our Offesne. You really think you guys are going to win? Your QB is horrible and your backup will more then likely end up the starter but he is suspended this game. Your best defensive player is suspended for this game. And you still think you are going to win? Not to mention this is our new coaching staffs first game and they know how hungry the ISU fans are to win. You guys have NO chance to win this game. Sorry but it is the truth!

OK......I will tell NDSU coaches they should just cancel the game. If they decide to show up they should remember to get down on their knees and bow to the almighty cyclones. Give me a break, you cyclone homers are twice as full of yourselves as any Bison fan.

True, you can't compare yourself to another FCS team on the sole basis that you are their conference without being compared to another FCS team that beat you last year. Head to head is a better comparison than conference affiliation.

Funny, you call me a homer but I actually produce reasoning why I feel that ISU will win. All you can say is that NDSU will win. You provide no explanation. What phases of the game will NDSU be able to out perform ISU in? Where does NDSU have an advantage on the field?

I don't think you have any idea what type of environment the Bisons will be walking in to in 2 weeks. I fully expect the stadium to be rocking and the fans to be crazy. Excitement over this coaching staff has spread quicker then the plague. It is going to be a fun one come 9/03!!!
