Lindell Wigginton

I wasn't saying we wouldn't get him. i was responding to someone ******** about Iowan states/prohms
Recruiting.
You're not wrong. I'm sure your history on Hoiberg is why they are blasting you. But you're right. Can't build something big if you can't keep a coach for a number of years. Hoiberg... 5 years. Mac... Sucked. Morgan... Like 4 years. Larry... Floyd...

Orr was the last guy that stuck. You gotta get a guy to stick around before you can really get something going. You don't see any elite teams going through a coaching change every 4 to 5 years.

Really impressed with what Prohm has been able to do so far. This is another awesome pick up.

Welcome to CycloNation Lindell. The future of ISU basketball is bright.

Good write up by hoopseen on Wigginton's prep history and his/the 2017 class future prospects under Prohm.

http://www.hoopseen.com/news/player/201610/iowa-state-scoops-lindell-wigginton

"Iowa State also holds a commitment from top-100 wing Terrence Lewis and expect for the Big 12 program to fight for at least one more in 2017 as they remain a favorite for interior producer and big man Isaiah Stokes."

;)

@evandaniels Steve Prohm has had some point guards in his day. Cameron Payne, Isaiah Canaan & now Monte Morris. Lindell Wigginton has next.

@coreyevans_10 For as much success that Steve Prohm has had with his point guards, Lindell Wigginton becomes his highest rated recruit ever landed

Prohm has always had an nba PG... gotta think he has a great chance to have the streak continue

Thank you to those who didn't crucify me when I posted what I had heard on here. I am very happy and willing to share inside scoops when I receive them.

Good job ISU amigo! Not that it matters, but did your source comment on why the Oregon switches by some??

It was a bit of a dig at hoiberg ;)

But mostly it was that I don't think it's fair to act like we should be getting top players when we can't keep a coach. I did research and there was no program that has even been somewhat successful with as much turnover as us. And I don't think we can be elite until we have a coach that stays for more than 5 years. Even if Fred had liked it enough to stay for 8 years, it would have helped.

But I do really like prohm. I think he actually enjoys coaching at college, so as long as his wife can handle Iowa, maybe we can start to develop something.
