Let's talk B12 bubbles ...

You have to admit it takes fewer steps to climb Mt. Everest. Or was it the 'and 1'. Not sure what Surly was referring to.
A couple bad calls does not equal a ref vendetta against your team. People that suggest that are just pathetic.

What’s next for K-State basketball, surly?

Keeping Pack obviously should be priority 1.

If Bruce somehow is in Manhattan next year, things obviously look bleak.
For me, the hurdle for coach Weber is this year's NCAA tournament field. I can't see how this team makes it. Thus, I believe he will be gone. Good guy. Quirky. Clean. Fine coach with talent. But he just couldn't finish the deal. Last night was just another in a long list.

I hope State hires Jerome Tang off Baylor's staff. Second, for me would be Bryce Drew. Then, I suppose, NMSU's Jans. But I'd really like to see Tang as a head coach. I believe he's to Baylor basketball as Chris Peterson was to Dan Hawkins at Boise State football.

Does Tang have experience recruiting the kansas area? One underrated part of the Otz hire is his recruiting connections in Wisconsin, and he made savvy assistant hires of guys with connections in the upper midwest. IMO it makes a lot of sense to heavily recruit contiguous states without a B12 team, in KSU's case Nebraska, Missouri, and Colorado. And Kansas itself of course.

That's another reason I like Tang, his B12 roots for recruiting and understanding the conference format on multiple levels. Another not-so-obvious reason is that he's a minority.

One of the hallmarks of coach Weber's career here is the lack of respect he has received from refs. Last night was just another in a very long list, the worst of which was this one.

Woof... that's a lot of steps for that layup. KU owns the refs.
