I’ll be shocked if we are a 7 seed! I’d take it. I think a 9 or 10 is most likely.
We always say we want Big Ten teams in the tournament and then when we get them, we never win.
*I'll never not think that we won that game. Not “never” win, but more L’s than W’s. Small sample size, relatively speaking.
Losses:
Ohio State ’85 (4v13, obviously understandable)
Michigan State ’00
Ohio State ’13*
Purdue ’17
Ohio State ’19
Wins:
Michigan ’86
Minnesota ’05
--> If we could just purge Ohio State from existence, we'd be sitting pretty pretty.![]()

Too soon. And the stolen game against MSU!
I think a thing that helps us is (supposedly) the committee no longer values season end results more than results all season. Those early wins are money in the bank (I hope).Lunardi still has us as a 9 after last nights blowout. I'd still take that - hope we can win at least one game and avoid Kentucky. Most 1's are a bad matchup for us - I think they're the worst.
In that bracket, not sure I'd want USC, but I don't know much about them.Lunardi dropped us to a 10. Which I would like at this point over 8/9. But I hate this draw. Give me literally any other 10 seed draw the first two games over what he has for us.

Lunardi now has us as one of the last 4 byes. Not sure why I’m sweating now. https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/s...ology-projecting-2022-march-madness-men-field
Just pushes us to the 10 line in his mind. Remember…11 seeds play in the “first 4”.Lunardi now has us as one of the last 4 byes. Not sure why I’m sweating now. https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/s...ology-projecting-2022-march-madness-men-field
Dang didn’t see that from last night. Really need A&M to lose and Davidson to win the A10. I want to avoid the first 4 at all costs. Wouldn’t mind a 10 seed. That loss against OK State really showing it’s horns right now.Yeah he had that update last night. It’s strange we are a last four bye yet a 10 seed. We are in don’t sweat.
9 Big Ten teams would be an absolute travesty
