Lard Transferring

That's certainly fair, I had that thought about 2 months ago, but not as much now. Agree to disagree, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did try to make the jump. however I feel there will be enough feed back that he can improve his stock with coming back another year.

That'd be great although hopefully it's on the basis that he's still present for ISU's success.

That is what I was saying, I feel that he gets enough feed back that he needs to come back to school for another year to improve his NBA stock. If there was one person in this NCAA class that coming back for another year wouldn't hurt his potential moving forward, it's THT with everyone clamoring about how young he is haha

That's the scary part about Prohm to me, because I also thought about how similar these situations were. Hoiberg did seem to get the best out of McKay, but Prohm and him just didn't get along. Sadly, I think the same thing happened with Lard.

His problems ran beyond just Prohm though. From what I can tell, there wasn't animosity between Lard and his teammates. He was different in that regard. Hoiberg just put up with a lot and he had to if he was going to bring those guys in. I think there was a lot more nuance to a Hoiberg roster. I think he needed guys like Ejim and Kane, for instance to keep people in line. That turned into guys like Niang who had previously been the ones needing that guidance. I also think there was going to come a time where that approach lead to some letdowns down the road when that balance wasn't there. Maybe UAB was an example.

Does anybody know if this was of Lard's choosing or Prohm encouraging to find success elsewhere?

I wonder if there is a chance of one or both of them are willing to set out a year and transfer, if they don’t declare. Hard to blame LW if he did.

Unless he was able to play immediately, there is zero chance Wigginton transfers.

I hope he lands somewhere that he can show off his skills. I have a feeling if he's looking for a coach with fewer rules he will find plenty to pick from. I'm not really sure that's what he needs right now or for the long run in life.

Best of luck to you, Cam. You were fun to watch.

He's the better player period, anybody with any basketball IQ knows this. How many people had Jacobson starting over him a year ago when we were talking lineups for 2018-19?

This is how Prohm rolls and thats fine, but expect stuff like this and chemistry issues that were evident down the stretch to plague this team. You arent a model citizen like Lard or TAlley, or you mess up your foot like Lindell, you get put on the bench and have to work like crazy to get back into the rotation, do extremely selfish and stupid stuff on the court, doesnt matter, youll still play up until the point he has to pull you (THT in the Ohio St game).

Better player? Nah. More potential? Yeah but potential and $3.00 still just gets you a cup of coffee.

At least he went out on a positive note by playing well off the bench against tOSU. No hard feelings. Good luck to him on and off the court. He has all the physical tools to be a really good player. It's a shame it just won't be at ISU.

The best news is Cam's highlight reel was REALLY easy to put together. In fact, doubt they even had to edit any of his minutes out. :)
