Speaking from experience, pot addition is real and can be just as debilitating. Sure you never have to go blow a guy for a joint (unless it's your thing) but it still can have serious impact.
Denver hospital reporting 3-times increase in emergency room visits for pot. Psychosis, violent illness, all linked to the higher strength hippy lettuce. 3 deaths reported due to pot as well in this limited study.

When less than 10% of chronic users can get addicted to it, it's not a real problem when you compare it to high percentages of addicts from legal drugs like tobacco and booze.
It’s not addictive. If you smoke too much of it you made a choice to. Chemicals in your brain aren’t telling your mind and body that you need it. You aren’t going to have withdrawal (although you may be really irritable and mad) if you smoke a lot and have to stop for a t break or something for a pee test.

Sorta sorry to see him go, but Prohm has spent a lot of time and effort to help Cam get his act together, and Cam is still got suspended for a game late in the season. I know it was probably not a huge deal, because it was only one game, but I'm sure it was very disappointing to Prohm after all the other issues. Cam may go somewhere else where they don't care what their players do as long as the show up for the games and really thrive. I have a lot of respect for Prohm for how he has tried to handle things.
Why is alcohol and tobacco legal when it's much worse for you than weed? Greater rates of addiction, death, health problems with tobacco and alcohol. So you must want to make all things addictive illegal? Where do you draw the line? Alcohol? Tobacco? Fast food?
I'm guessing that most of the above is due to edibles. It's very easy for people to overdo edibles and the effects are much more severe. I've seen it happen with cookies and heard horror stories about extra strong brownies.
Just say no to edibles kids!
It's also no recommended for people who have severe documented mental illness, it can trigger psychosis and other adverse reactions, i'd guess this is whats happening.
Sweeping generalization. Did I say anything about making everything addictive illegal. The fact it gunnerclone is wrong.
As you stated it is addictive, medical marijuana alone has proven to be addictive in 10% of cases.
