Hard to tell when buried on the bench....

Do we need to watch out for the Steven Phrom 2nd yr big man drop off?

Jameel McKay
Y1: 3rd Team All Big 12 & Defensive POY
Y2: Nothing

Cam Lard:
Y1: Big Honorable Mention
Y2: Nothing

Michael Jacobson:
???

Or just watch out for players with issues outside of basketball.

When Lard was on he had NBA written all over him. When he was off, yikes.

Prohm did all he could and you could tell was trying to give him chances to make the right choices. I wish Lard well in real life and on the court.

I'm still excited with Conditt/Jacobson/Young.

All of this. This should have a ton of likes.

Fred's first class:
Cam Lard
Rashad Vaughn
Cheick Diallo
Emmanuel Malou
Jack Hoiberg

They go 140-0, winning 4 straight national championships.
Ames, Iowa implodes..
136-4. They lose the Natty to Iowa State every year.

I hope he gets things together - discipline, impulse control, decision making, peers...keys forever and everywhere - and has a good life (hopefully) with or without basketball.

Hope Solomon Young can be healthy and we can have a solid big man rotation with Jacobson/Young/Conditt. None of those three will probably be as dynamic as big Cam's shot blocks but probably won't be as up-and-down either.

Oh, IDK. I think Conditt has potential to be a shot-blocker extraordinaire.

Jacobson will continue getting his because of how hard he works.

As much as I adore Cam and his abilities as a basketball player, he easily to me was the most frustrating player on the roster. He has no one to blame except himself for suspensions, not starting and reduced playing time.
I will be rooting for him where ever he lands and I hope he can have success.

Blocking shots is kind of Conditt's thing.

This isn’t a bad thing trust me...He had to go..

Solo
Jacobsen
Conditt

Are more than adequate front court next year...and will be more productive.

The key to next season is THT staying..

Nixon is an excellent defender and ball handler as well as a good 3pt shooter.

I’ll be very surprised if Lewis is here.

So 2 transfers would be expected..

Real question is THT..

Kind of hard to compete for a starting spot when you spend your summer in a wellness center instead of with the team then are suspended for the first 7 games of the season. He has no one but himself to blame for the choices he made that put him in that position. Not too worried about Jacobson as he doesn't even come close to the attitude and baggage issues McKay and Lard had.
