Having said all this, there are lots of examples out there of great shooters with poor technique. Lonzo Ball has terrible form, but it works.
In the case of my local high school team, most have horrible form, and none of them can hit the broad side of a barn.
Carter never plays and has had plenty of opportunity. My judgement is based on that. I frankly don't pay any attention to him when he's in because the game is over.No one seems to articulate why they have issues with Carter. I don't think he is anywhere near as bad as people think he is. He was very raw last year, but has seemed to grow in to his body this year and looks better. He still is fairly raw, but I think he can be a solid roll player in the future if he does stay around.
Kasongo I haven't seen much at all, but the little I have seen he seems like he is much closer to his full potential, but still right around where Carter is.
I'm talking about when they are throwing down dunks in warm ups. I could take a video from the bleachers every time any of our bigs dunk and most fans wouldn't notice the difference.
I'm in no way comparing Lard to Carter.
Really excited for next year. Jackson, Wigginton, Babb, Lard, Young. Solid 5 right there.
Again it's not the dunk. You must be a wrestler.
That's clearHa.
I don't know what you are even arguing about.
Please do everyone a favor and don't try to make SYclone33 a thing.
So thru my sources and personal experiences with Simeon my understanding is that there is just not enough going on upstairs(if you know what I mean) to be a competitive D1 player as well as he has a questionable work ethic which is why he doesn't play. On the flip side Solo is a very very bright young man and has a work ethic comparable to Matty Ice. I don't really know anything about Lard other than he's by far the most athletic big man on the team (I consider Burton a guard)I would like to know the inside story on Simeon Carter and why he hasn't gotten more time, especially in the middle of this season. He gets up the court and has finished on the few plays he's had an opportunity at. There is clearly something there that we as fans don't know. SC looks like the type of teammate you would want on your side though.
I wouldn't say Jakolby's shot is broken. A few minor tweaks and he'll be fine. I know it was CCL but he had no problem hitting shots in the games I went to.
Long has always made a good percentage when I've watched. With his slow release I guess he'll need to be selective when he shoots.I personally think it just looks weird because he is a lefty, that fads back, and kicks his leg out some. All leftys look a bit weird shooting the ball.
Lard or Long?DOnt think he'll be playing next year quite yet, but he couldnd develop to something

I agree and if we're wrong, Kasongo is very good and we have a great spring/summer signing period to look forward to!He will certainly be playing next year. A freshman in his first Big 12 action will have a serious adjustment period, but he will play.
Kasongo is not very good. You've been misinformed.I agree and if we're wrong, Kasongo is very good and we have a great spring/summer signing period to look forward to!
