Just thought i might throw this out there. He has? or nearly has gotten hurt in all of our games. Don't you think this is hurting his draft status?

I would say it might, but it seems to be an re-occurring ankle more than anything. Although watching the highlights, it looked horrible this time. Could be ankle or knee imo.....

No, he's already got the build-up. At this point, the only thing that would knock him way down is a bad combine performance.
He's going to play guard in the NFL (probably), not be a big-money left tackle.

This just in, #72 with a false start.

EXACTLY !!! I was wondering why the NFL would be interested in him when he can't even run plays in this offense. Talk about self destructing; one of our best players (KO) is one of the worst offenders. I don't know the stats but he has at least 2-3 penalties in every game. Nice precedent to set for the younger players -> NOT.

Oh I don't know, maybe it's the fact that he's a dominant lineman with massive size and the wingspan of a 7 footer.

You think the NFL is going to give two ***** about the occasional false start penalty in college when they are looking at a guy with his measurables?

Yep, someone will coach the penalties out of him. If he wants to make the money, things will change.

I get so sick of this ******** about the guy. He is a massive beast and the best offensive lineman in the conference, possibly the country and here they are ********. Occassionally a left tackle is going to have a false start. That is just the way it is. The guy is usually blocking some freak that is much faster. KO is a great offensive lineman and we will be lucky to EVER have another one this good, yet we got guys that weigh 180 sitting at their computer ********. Unreal.

Because that is simply is not true, obviously he can run plays in this offense. Yeah his 1 false start penalty a game is annoying, but your statement is a huge exaggeration and completely false.

KO dominates for us. Rarely gets any penalties other than a false start here and there. Our best offensive player, no doubt.

The pros keep putting the oft injured Bulaga back in the line.

He is a tad too slow to be playing tackle and the NFL knows that. The false starts are usually on passing plays where he is trying to get into positio.

He will be a guard at the next level and the NFL knows he won't be jumping the gun as he will be inside

Wow, just wow.

KO does dominate and he is a great OL but you can't ignore his false starts and holds. Especially when they happen in the red zone.

He's killed multiple drives with his penalties this year. Holds can be excused but theres not reason a SR should be getting this many false starts. He has to lead our Oline in penalties.

I think you could make a case for him as physically our best Olineman this season so far and mentally the worst. He just doesn't seem locked in.

I was wondering the same thing. Does it show toughness, playing through an injury, or weakness, getting hurt every week? A bad ankle on a guy that size has to be extremely painful and slow to heal, since he is continuing to play on it.

I'm not discounting how much he means to our offense. It was quite obvious in the UNI game without KO and Hicks we are horrible. But the guy has killed more drives than I can count in the last couple years. Much like LJ great player but mistakes make them average. I really don't think he ends up in 1st round, he will be mid 2nd and could drop to 3rd.
