Kansas State Numbers

Ah, come on, man. Just a thousand suns? Such a low hurdle.

I skimmed through this thread and, for the most part, agree with everything written here.

You nor I should make judgments about coaches so early, one way or the other. Klieman's success will be defined by the future, not the past because the past is still tied to his fabulous stay at NDSU.

Next year is year three at K-State when his guys represent half the depth chart. That will make for a better assessment. Today, I have great confidence in the future.

ESPN will decide if and when he is doing well by talking about other coaching opportunities for him. ;)

Although his state of Iowa pedigree will dampen the ESPN interest. Would be better for the talking heads if he was from Michigan, Ohio or Pennsylvania.
Ok let's do it then. The official Campbell to KSU ESPN push. I have even heard Campbell idolizes Snyder. Its probably a done deal. Gotta lock him up EMAW before nebraska does. :jimlad:

As far as job security, Klieman will be fine..

They really need Skylar Thompson to come back next year. He's pretty old (this would be his 6th year in college) but I'm sure the injury makes him more likely to return.

Klieman was pursued by Michigan State. That's when his contract was renegotiated back in February. MSU did take State's d'coordinator, essentially doubling his salary.

And yes, there are a ton of youngsters who have left the program. It's easy to do that. Some are his recruits, some are leftovers from Snyder's term.
