NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

I know what he is betting on but I am saying that seems like a bad bet. Most teams don't even see him as a LT. He is an ok LT. Probably already getting paid more than he is worth.
Starting tackles that young don't hit the open market very often. "What he's worth" is whatever a team is willing to pay him. And in a world where guys like Christian Kirk get massive deals, it's an understandable gamble for him to make.

I'm not claiming he is. But the franchise tag pays him like he is. So long as his performance doesn't fall off of a cliff, a 26/27 year old tackle who hasn't missed a start will get a better deal than the one the chiefs have offered him. That's what he's betting on.
He actually missed week 17 against the Bengals when he got hurt in pre-game warmups.

I dont follow the Cheifs closely so I thought I'd ask some experts.

Best receiver for fantasy purposes?
Juju
MVS
Sky Moore

Is Jujuj expected to split snaps out of the slot with Moore? Or we he be on the field a majority of the time in 2WR sets?

JuJu for this year.
Expect Sky to be eased into roll.

JuJu probably the safest bet but I would not reach in your draft to get him. ESPN has him as the #30 PPR WR in their rankings for what it's worth. I think Moore could be a sleeper to keep an eye on as maybe a last round pick or waiver stash. The potential is there but hard to tell how big of a role he will have early on. Hardman could work his way into the conversation too, the Chiefs WR roles and target shares are kind of a mystery until we see them him the field I think.

One thing I am not doing is drafting a Chiefs running back. I think it's going to be a RB by committee and the snaps will depend on the pace of game and who has the hot hand as Jones, Edwards-Helaire, and McKinnon all are going to see the field in different situations and I doubt any of them really carve out a lead back role with how the KC offense uses the RB.

Wow, he supposedly impressed in the OTA, Mini-Camps, etc.

Technical move IMO. Move made with the future in mind.

This allows the team to retain him without having to cut him and expose him to waiver wire.

Note - JuJu, Gordon and Hardman are not signed for next year (not a guarantee Gordon makes roster this yr). My guess is at most 2 of those 3 would be with the club next yr.

Dunlap is a great signing. Also sounds like Clark is set to have a good year. Came to camp in great shape. Admitted he didn't play in great shape last year. He is down like 15 pounds of bad weight. Also has been mentoring Karlaftis.

Sounds like JuJu has been great in camp so far. Definitely looks like he might be the fantasy pick for a KC WR.

Can't find a lick about it... any word or anything on how Rose is doing?

Buried down with the 3's and probably isn't standing out enough for reporters to even note. Such is the life of most of the 3's. He's probably looking at practice squad at best.
Went looking for anything I could find and only thing I found is a note of him getting beat in coverage in 7 on 7 vs WR that I have never even heard of.

I am not sure why Rose signed with the Chiefs in the first place. They have drafted a couple of LBers in the past two drafts in the 2nd round, and both are going to be starting this year. They drafted a LBer in the 4th or 5th round in the draft this year. Just not sure where the playing time was going to be for Rose to make the team.
