NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

KC's defense has what I noticed is a 2 good plays, one bad play sequencing. They seem to have a good first and second down, often getting the opposing team in third and 7+, but then give up the enough yards for the first down as teams exploit the hell out of the zone defense. A lot of it stems from the inability to get to the QB with only 4. Losing the rookie DT has been a bigger loss than we realize. Getting ONL back for next year and finding younger help on the interior for CJ is going to be a must during the offseason.
Nobody has been a bigger loss than Justin Reid

Just couldn't get off the field on third and long that first half.

I never want to hear somebody say the chiefs get all the calls again. Every 50/50 call has gone against them this game and some have been egregiously bad
Anyone that ever said the chiefs got all the calls was and is an uneducated football fan. Some of these calls in this game have been ******* atrocious

What happened to Nohl Williams? Dude balled out early on and we just watched Watson get worked over and over and over.

I know this is a Chiefs thread so KC fans here will claim the opposite and think they've been clean all day...

But idk the last game I saw where a secondary like KCs that has held or committed a PI or at least were borderline on nearly every single pass play. I get that Pickens, Lamb, Flournoy, Turpin, Ferguson are all tough guards. But sheesh, hands on, grabbing, arriving early all game long.

LOL. 2 of the last 3 DPI calls were complete crap. Only an ignorant football fan could argue otherwise.

This just isn’t accurate. Also, George Pickens commits OPI at the top of every route and it’s never been called

I have said that officials will never beat you but can have an effect on the game and I feel that way today, especially watching some of the pi flags thrown by a guy 30 yards down feel. oh well gotta make sure the cowboys are still in the hunt. when you have a team flagged for over 120 yards in penalties for the first time in 6 years something is wrong.

@Erik4Cy so the refs are in the tank for KC or what? I'm not real sure what point you were ever trying to make? which games are they in the tank for them exactly? Wasn't today. The refs are chiefs fans just not on thanksgiving? Either your just the butthurt loser of a ****** NFL team or the refs are only sometimes chiefs the fans. Its one or the other.

No, never said like that (assuming you're insinuating I think the refs are on KC side...or anyone's for that matter.) These refs get judged, graded, and paid for better performances and get to ref SBs if they do well, I don't buy into them favoring teams.

My point was (and that some understandably biased and upset fans think opposite) was that KC secondary was far from clean all game long. KC secondary normally is good, but they were just flat out off today. Pulling on shoulder pads, grabbing hands after 5 yards, arriving too early before the pass reaches WRs, etc...that was all. Sacrilegious to say, I know.
