NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

As I stated, Moore isn't getting cut. It's clear from the preseason.
I really have not seen Moore do much of anything for the Chiefs, that says at least to me that he will be on the roster this season. If the article is correct and they only take 6 instead of 7 WR, I could see see both Ross and Moore getting cut.

I'd be surprised if it is Moore that gets cut. I know he's been pretty much a bust up to this point but still has some upside if he ever gets it figured out. If he's cut there probably will be plenty of teams willing to sign him and hope a change of scenery unlocks some potential.

Based on what I have seen, i think its more likely that Brown, Rice, JJ, Worthy, Watson, Hardman and Toney are the 7 KC goes with, and if something legal happens with Rice, Ross will end up being moved up to the roster spot

It isn't so much what he has done but when he has played and in the final game that he rested at WR. They only had him return a couple kicks. The resting shows he is firmly on the roster. Toney has been on the bottom for awhile and just made things worse when he did get time in game #2. They played him more with the subs in game 3 imo to try and see if they get a team to be interested in him. I don't think Ross does enough to stay on the roster. He isn't a special teams guy and he doesn't really fit what the Chiefs do.

This signing makes me worry that Brown may be more hurt than initially thought. Signing a guy with bad knees that got cut from the worst team in the league seems like a really odd move outside of JuJu having familiarity with the system.

Just never could get his act together, all the talent in the world, with a .10 cent brain. Hopefully he will get a 3rd chance, but who knows.
Not sorry to see him go, but he's got something most of the rest of the top WRs in the league wish they had, a TD catch in a SB and two rings. Skyy Moore is going to be the same way.

Chiefs would be a difficult roster to make, not surprised by any of the moves today, I like Ross, but it was an uphill battle for him, same with the ruby player, great athlete but hard to learn enough in a short amount of time to make the team. Hope the Chiefs can get him on the practice squad and give him time to learn and grow, same with Ross.

I've said it many times here, Toney is basically the real life version of Clifford Franklin. Not sad to see stone hands released
