What happened to these guys? A few months ago everybody on here made it seem like they would be a middle of the road Big 12 team this year because they had a horrible recruiting year. They're up 52-40 with 11 to go in the 2nd half on Ohio State right now. Did Self pick up some late commits that turned out to be better than anticipated or what?

Kansas is Kansas. Self is a great coach. They are down from normal but they still have great players, such as Thomas Robinson. Extremely tough at home always. Sullinger not playing for OSU is huge, he creates a lot of offense.

Self is one of the best coaches in the nation and his teams play solid team basketball. They have one of the most talented big men in the country and some serviceable role players. Some of the role players were highly ranked coming out of high school but have been lost in the depth we're used to seeing at KU.

Ohio State is missing perhaps the biggest X-factor in college basketball in Sullinger. They're playing at one of the toughest venues in sports. KU isn't as good as they have been in the past but that doesn't mean they are bad. They are beatable but still a solid Top 25 squad.

this team will improve all year because Self is a great coach. As mentioned Sullinger isn't playing, but even with KU down they will always be tough at Phog Allen

There is no sullinger otherwise I would have to think the scores would be reversed... KU has little post presence, and looking very meh...

Anyone who thought Kansas would be middle of the pack in the Big XII was out of their mind. They have Self and they are still Kansas. They've only won the conference something like 85 straight years. When has Kansas ever been bad?

Kansas will not be middle of the pack in this years XII. Our conference is very average this year, in terms of not having any real stand out teams.
