This may have been noted in other threads, but something else about Kane: A lot of us have complained this season about ineffectiveness of that end-of-first-half isolation (I've said it as often as anybody) — but that's exactly the play that sealed the game.
I've had no problem with the iso. This is just the first time he hasn't dribbled it around and then jacked up a guarded three like he usually does at the end of half. I wish he would have driven the ball every time in that situation.
His toughness is the difference with this team from especially last year. That team, same circumstances, likely loses today.
Good call for college. Both are 6-4. Both go to the bucket. Both control their team. Both absorb a lot of punishment. Both sweat. Both rebound, assist and shoot well.
I expect he will be drafted. My god, Lakers, Charlotte, New Orleans, or Knicks need all the help they can get. He is a little like Chris Paul in his approach.
