Am I the only one that misses the old, simple site on mobile? The new fancy site bogs down my phone so much. Typing a message is brutal.

I didnt really like the old mobile site, but i'll agree, the site lags incredibly on mobile. Especially trying to type, as you said.

The graphics are improved on desktop, but that's about the only improvement I've noticed with the new site. Still one of the best college message boards out there.
Yesterday when I kept clicking the forums tab in would just refresh to the home screen.

Same for me. S7 edge, chrome browser. The new site is incredibly slow for me. Writing this reply was a test of patience.
If I don't close my chrome app and this site was the last thing I looked at, it drains my battery. Only happens with CF.
The lag in loading is annoying, I'll have read and scrolled down like 5 posts when it snaps back up to the last unread because it just finished loading. Happens on both my ipad and Galaxy S5

Weird. The mobile site works 100 percent fine for me all of the time.
Seems like this is primarily an Android problem based on the complaints we are getting. If you guys can reply with specific - browser, phone, etc., I will gladly look into it. Again though, I'm on an I-Phone 6-S Plus and could not be more happy with the new mobile site.

Found a solution. If you block JavaScript in chrome, the site is back to being nice and snappy.

Takes forever to load and jumps back to top randomly.

iPhone user here and use the CF app. and as others have said, virtually impossible typing a message on the phone.
Yes. But those are the features that cause it to lag. The only thing that I notice is the lack of user notifications in the upper right corner. Otherwise, most everything else is there. Some of it is in different places since there isn't a pull down menu.
