JTS Improvements - Want More

So far, it’s a construction site…
I’m wondering if, pending sales and construction, next week they seed or sod the CyTown strip as a park like area. A placeholder. More presentable for marketing presentation, controls erosion.

Perhaps a walkway as a representation of the future concourse as well.

Honestly they probably should just leave it, it would be better than bare dirt.

Last year all the bare dirt caused it to be a mini dust bowl tailgating at times.

Seeding would not grow, in time really to matter, and short of watering it constantly it probably would never grow.

I wonder how far along some of the negotiations really are for tenants. On one had I think it is probably much farther than we are being told, and on the other I wonder if its not.

That green spray stuff they use for seed can work shockingly well. But like you said, they would have to water the hell out of it which I don’t know if they would get that done correctly.

I thought the new sound system sounded great at Victory Day a few nights ago, although they didn't play any loud music.
Yeah it will be interesting to hear how much difference that new sound system makes on Gameday.

Walked through the lots yesterday evening and am honestly a big fan of all of the sidewalks they're putting in. Should help with traffic flow a lot, both foot and vehicle.
agree but i wonder how many people are going to take the grass ( now dirt ) and sidewalk as part of their tailgate set up, thus negating the purpose of sidewalk.

I do remember last year when walking through the new lots last year that people would back in and use the grass area (was mulch last year), but the sidewalks were clear. Not that some JAs will try to do that though, so fair point.

imo - i want someone better established with history running a large restaurant with full food and beverage
Pretty sure there’ll be room for more than one.

I’m wondering if it will be mostly bars by the bandshell, and restaurants by the central courtyard.

no doubt but having been to Titletown a few times for work, im thinking CyTown will be similarly anchored by one large brewery with food & bev and then a few others smaller only spots, some being beverage only potentially

an ideal tennant for that anchor spot would be Big Grove. Spare me the "theyre hawks!"
they make amazing beer, great food and have experience running a large scale restaurant.

It wouldn't make sense because they would only get used like 7 times a year but it would be cool if they built air conditioned public bathrooms into the rear buildings of the development so we don't have to use hot nasty porta potties.

Also I wonder how they'll combat drunk people going into the establishments on gamedays and blowing up the bathrooms.
