It will be interesting in the haunted forest this year. Since they probably will have more RVs after they got bumped out of the vet med area. The nice thing is we can usually go down the day before and stake out our area. Since both owners are there on Friday, and we live in Ames, it is easy to sneak down measure off a 30' wide area for our three vehicles in our group and get there around 6 am or so. But who knows how it will be this year.

Most are 9x9, that is true. I have a 10x10 and since most tents are 9x9, the accessories like shades/wind guards are too small for the tent I have. There are some 10x10 tents out there.

The Licensed tents with team logos are 9X9. They make them that way because nobody sells a regular/plain 9x9 tent. That way when your tent breaks you can't just slap your canopy on a cheap 9x9, you have to buy a new licensed 9x9 tent.

Once S. 16th is widened to 4 lanes through that area and new traffic controls are installed at the Vet Med entrances, I wouldn't be surprised to see G4/G5 paved and an access road to RV Village.

City of Ames does. Just a matter of actually doing it.

I imagine more than a few people will have post-game tailgates while waiting to get out.

The people that do the traffic plan and those that manage it after games are complete idiots. I have never seen anywhere that has such a terrible traffic plan and management. Best services are horrible. Several of their workers over the last few years have not only been inept, but have witnessed them openly mocking fans.
The idea that they send the grass lots and vet med toward the stadium after instead of toward Duff on 16th is absolutely stupid, They send all the traffic towards the congestion rather than away. Then the fact that they have limited traffic directors at limited main intersections is also the problem.

Well, Tennis team is getting a new indoor/outdoor facility. Maybe those outdoor courts will be open to public.

I still remember intramural broomball matches in little half melted boxes of ice right behind Beyer.
