For those of you wondering about whether a semi truck can back under the North Endzone walk-way, I have a little perspective. The bottom of the sign that is seen just above the cab roof of the truck above is about 5-1/2 feet tall (based on seeing some average height women standing by it). This would mean that there is about 12 feet of clearance. How much would a semi need?

The 12 foot high Jack Trice bronze statue will look good in that plaza, with spotlights on it, lit up at night. Hopefully they can unveil it for the 2023 season.
The sod on the NW corner of the plaza and next to the IPF is dead. Chuncks of it are up. I would assume a new batch goes in after the Iowa game.

Looks as though the whole plaza area is lit up tonight. Any idea what all that light is coming from under videoboard?
If you back the camera up you can see that the bottom of the scoreboard (where it shows the score) is on. As it gets darker the camera gets confused and just blows it out.
Scoreboard has a slightly different lay out and, uh, are they gonna shoot for 81 on Saturday?!
