I thought that was the new Farmaggedon trophy?Probably depends on the Allbaugh family, they are footing the bill for the plaza. They might instead want to include a big sculpture of a can of Round Up herbicide.

Albaugh family would likely only approve the sculpture of the knock-off version of the herbicide; Bauer would need a sculpture depicting lawsuits.Probably depends on the Allbaugh family, they are footing the bill for the plaza. I work on a golf course and that’s absolutely not right, giving sod enough water is important but it’s not the only thing. We laid some new sod and watered it two or three times a day because the temp was in the 90s. Didn’t save it, it ended up dying. There’s a reason turf management is a degree program…Sod will look good if you water it enough. If it looks a little sick, it's because of the lack of water. It's that simple.
Last year my neighbor sodded a section of his backyard (removed a trampoline) and he did not water it enough and it looked terrible.
I now have some new sod in my backyard (damage from a skid loader) and I water the $hit out of it and it looks killer.
This is flat out wrong. You can absolutely overwater sod. Grass that is always wetTruth be told.... my underground sprinkler guy told me this... and he was right. He said. "you can never water sod enough. It helps build better root system."
Anyone have any idea why they didn’t just back the cement truck over to the pour? The one right next to the SPC?
Still can’t upload a photo, it’s around the 13:10 mark.
And what are those two circles they poured around?
I am going to speculate, as all good fanatics do, on the circles. I think they are probably manholes for access to power. I also know the Jake condenser tower for air conditioning now lies west of the stadium, which would indicate either glycol or freon lines run under that ramp, so they might access those lines in those manholes also. So we probably have communication, air conditioning, water, electrical and possibly sewer and steam running under that ramp. All of which might need access through manholes. This! I feel like this thread should be all over this mystery.
A) especially with Ames H2O . . . best in the nationThis is flat out wrong. You can absolutely overwater sod. Grass that is always wet
A) never grows a proper root system because it has all the nutrients it needs right at the surface
B) has significant potential for rotten roots
The ribbon could also be used to promote upcoming athletic competitions. It would be cool if that whole front was part of the ribbon board sequence around the stadium. but $$$$ probably needs to go elsewhere. It seems that is wide enough to mount the panels. You could program Trice stripes all across there as people were entering, plus maybe some ads, sponsors thrown in as revenue generators.
Edit: might have to extend down a little from the metal framing lower top horizontal.

They are up early and pouring the other half of the ramp today it appears.
That's unfortunate. I love that touch. Let's just hope it's phase 1b.Replace with “would look” rather than “will look” in the reply to which you replied . The reply in the thread was to a prior version of the plaza with the Trice stripes. It does not appear that the stripes will be part of the plaza.

Allbaugh Plaza, brought to you by Round Up, the toxic, cancer causing herbicide.
I didn't realize that Albaugh created Round Up. I thought it was Monsanto, the company that was purchased by Bayer and has all the lawsuits against it?
