JTS Improvements - Want More

Question for the Engineers that are following construction. Do you think the concrete wall is going to be tall enough to meet code after they pour and then backfill and plant grass, or will there be a need to put a safety extension on top of it (Wall by the Jake passageway)? Seems its going to be pretty short but I guess it could just be perspective.
I wondered the same thing.

When you look at the size of the persons doing the concrete work, it looks to me like the concrete wall will be tall enough.

The northeast hillside looks tall enough without a fence or safety extension. I assume the same for the NW hillside.

Looks like we'll be receiving more rain this evening. With the freshly poured concrete, they must be confident it won't rain heavy in the next several hours.

Those walls are taller than you think. They just appear short from the camera angle/distance. Also remember the walls on the upper deck only come to above the waste and don't have any extensions. The ramp walls will be similar height.

Looking at the east side, I'm going to say there will be some sort of fence installed on top of those side walls. Doesn't look like they've got 42" of wall height.

After the tunnel is dried, will soil and grass go over it or are they just going to mound it up around the concrete and leave it?

I believe 32" is the minimum mandate, but I could be wrong.
