Saw that UNLV is getting $11M for 5 years to add a jersey patch sponsor, much like the NBA has (and NHL with their helmets).

Getting an extra $2M+ a year for a G5 team could be substantial for their longevity, and I'd have to imagine should Iowa State do the same the deal would bring in more than $11M for 5 years.

Question is, would fans be okay with it?

I hate jersey ads but if it meant completing for national championships, I’d let the team look like European hockey jerseys if the money was good.

I pitched this idea to advertise my small business but was rejected by the AD. Our logo needs some work, so I am wondering if that played a role.

Would be interested in a clean sheet logo redesign of any of you graphics professionals wanted to take a crack at it.
