What is really hard to swallow, is that we are a program that everyone knows doesn't have deep pockets, so when we 'overperform' based on the money we have, we have a target on our backs the whole time. We can't match the money other programs spend. We are like the baby gazelle lost on the Serengeti. Someone is coming along for a quick meal.

Yeah, for that kind of cash as a 21 year old I wouldn't have even cared about the outcomes of games.
If he became a deadly 3 point shooter teams would absolutely love him as a big wing player. But that’s a huge if and it makes all the difference.
He’d be above average ball handler and passer for a player his size in nba. He doesn’t have nba explosiveness which is why his 3 ball needs to be much better.
Given the SCOTUS decision how can you enforce any rule made up? The NCAA is struggling to even have any control at this point. They don't want to ruffle the feathers of powerful schools.

This does suck, but we are also insanely lucky we have TJ. He is so good at navigating the portal and finding guys that fit and produce. Rob jones played in 2 sweet 16s. Tyrese Hunter was a much larger loss at the time than Jefferson would be. Is a bummer, because I think Jefferson would’ve gotten better. But there are 1000 kids in the portal. TJ will find the right pieces to keep us competitive. Hilton is still elite, and we have better fans than most.
