There's already an Iowa fan on here claiming this kid's not good because Kentucky and Oregon want him as a bench player. That's how big their heads have gotten now.

This is coming from fans of a team that didn’t make the NCAA tournament another year in a row.......

this is exactly the kind of transfer I figured Prohm would be able to go out and get.... a very average player at best.

An athleticolayer with good family genes and beating out Kentucky and Oregon? Yeah exactly the guy we’d expect.

Key here is Kane's relationship with the family. I'm guessing ISU or Oregon on this one. Hearing he's a great prospect AFTER a sit out year. Needs time to develop.

I’m on board with ISU taking this guy if they can get him. At the very least, it’ll bring some attention to the program knowing we have Obi Toppin’s brother. Haha

I'm very much fine with this but not really much more than that. He might end up being our best transfer of the offseason, which is pretty bad. If he was our 3rd best then I'd pay it no mind.

Obi has to sit out a year bc of academics and I’d say that worked out well for him

I really don't see any reason why not to take him. The odds of all four of the 2020 class making it through all four years here is incredibly low. I see no issues with potentially having 5 sophomores in 2021-2022.

Heck, we had 2 dudes that didn't even make it to the first game last season.

Oregon doesn’t have any scholarships open at the moment and if one magically becomes available it will be used on Buggs.

No way we are realistically going to fill all the 'ships with immediately eligible guys we will actually want, so I can definitely buy into getting Toppin in here. Could have a high ceiling with a sit-out year.
