ISU NFL Talent

Warren seems a bit small for what you usually see in an NFL back. Having said that, if he gets a couple 2000 yard seasons in, someone will give him a sniff. If not, then he has that life-long Canadian league feel to him.
I think Warren looks like Adrian Peterson at OU. Similar size and running style. Warren has put on about 15# since last year and he could put on more this year.

Warren will play in the league. Just not sure how he gets there. Kids legit. I see Lazard getting drafted.

I would list lazard, warren, cotton-moya, Tucker, Harvey, and wiltz as possible NFL prospects
Wiltz? Not seeing it but oh well. I would think if he was NFL talent we would not have been so hard after JUCO secondary contributors. Did you mean Peavy?

Two more OLs worthy of mention:
If Brobek stays healthy for a full season, I can see him as a late rounder. I understand he did well at the MN pro day, and I assume that he came to Ames to add durability to his resume. And to work with the the best OL coaches in the country. He's got the measurables, and the football IQ. If he remains upright by December, he will be in an NFL camp in 2017.

Good-Jones hasn't played a snap, but is clearly a favorite of the Iowa State coaching staff. As an RS frosh, they already say he can play anywhere on the line. He will have every opportunity to develop into what the NFL covets: a corn fed, cold weather, road grading offensive lineman. Plus I just think he has that look of somebody that right kind of nasty that is needed to survive in the trenches.

It has always amazed me how many games ISU wins with so few players with NFL talent and how many players Iowa puts in the NFL compared to their success on the field.

I think Lazard makes a better TE than a WR in the NFL. He'd have to pack on some pounds but 6'5 with great hands and not elite speed or quickness makes me think TE is a better fit at the next level. They've had basketball players make the transition without any CFB experience so i'm sure he could do it.
