If you'll indulge me on the language sidetrack. Etc. is probably the correct choice in your sentence. Et alii in Latin roughly means "and others" and is typically used to shorten a list of people. Also, there is no period after et in et al. since only the second Latin word is being abbreviated.

Good point, "etc." is more appropriate for what I wrote.

I think I've been mis-punctuating et al for ... a while. Good reminder.
But if I write it 'et al.' from now on people will begin to think I know things. :D

Nonetheless, a good grammar lesson.

He looks pretty well put together. Not a typical freshman “twig” big man that looks like they’ve never seen a weight room. Really glad he made it for the majority of summer workouts! Holding out hope that he can be a contributor this year!!
So, he missed 10 or more days for sure. When did summer workouts begin? And end?

It will be good that he at least made some of the summer program. That's got to help.
