Honestly the conference titles don’t mean much anymore because you only play half the conference anyway.
Just ends up in tie breakers to decide who plays.
So why even have the conference championship?
Start one week sooner in the season, and ditch the title game and everyone plays another game

As far as a bowl, Keep me away from playin another conference team. Give me Orlando

Noel and Purchase said they will both play in the bowl game.
I'm still upset that we don't get credit for the conference title in 2020. Played everyone, finished first, but had to do that fake conference title game because of an extra "data point" that talking heads were pushing.
The more teams in the playoffs, the less Bowl opt outs. Sure there will be some teams with 1-2 or so, but most of the stacked teams will be in the playoffs. Most guys projected outside the first round still play for another chance to improve their stock.
Do you mean Porter? Purchase isn’t going to be playing on Sundays, so he has no reason to sit out.
Not a hawk troll. Dormed in Helser, graduated in '08. In Campbell's (isu's best coach ever...love him) last 9 years, won 2 bowl games: liberty and fiesta. Virtually every other bowl played, straight up choke job. Look, the lights were too bright, the stage too big. We did NOT belong in the big 12 championship game today. Anyone from the state of Iowa would be embarrassed by today's performance 'clone fan or not. ISU has maybe been blown out in a game once or twice since Campbell's first year? Quite possibly Campbell's worst loss. If I was the other team playing whatever jag-off bowl game they play against isu, I'd be pumped. Easy win knowing we'll choke when all eyes are on us. Maybe Campbell's next hire should be a sports psychologist.
Weird not seeing the posters who were confident only a month or two ago we'd be in Memphis, not saying that they expect us to be in Memphis.

Purchase should get picked up as an undrafted free agent. He has been solid this year. He said he would play in the bowl game. Haven't heard if Porter will play or not.
We won by the skin of our teeth against two teams with a combined four Big 12 wins this season. I wouldn't be crowing too much on that point.
But I booked my non refundable room after they said it in multiple game threads. I mean, they were pretty sure of it.
And I booked my non refundable room for the playoffs after reading the CF staff predictions for the Arizona State game. We gonna call them out too?
You definitely can but I don't think they were continually posting all year that we were going to the playoffs because we were in the lead of a game like the Memphis folks did when we were down.
You don't appear to have any idea how bowl matchups are created. Hint - it's money.
ISU travels well - typically better than their opponent, they get good bowl games. Which often means against a superior team.
that is how Iowa won all of the Big 10 titles and a lot of them were co-champs. They never have won on with the CCG in place. And we had to go round robin to win ours, Iowa never had to and in most years skipped the team they tied it with.
