I think any bowl is gonna snag up Colorado asap. Alamo prolly will go to them if I had to guess. I’ll be happy with any bowl against a P5 team if we don’t make the playoff, even Liberty as long as it’s not against Memphis or a G5 team
Agree with this. Now will Sanders and Hunter play in the game? Probably shouldn't but maybe Deion will have them play at least for a bit.

For sure. If i'm those guys, I'm sitting out a bowl unless it's the CFP. I've gained so much respect for Hunter this year - the guy absolutely loves ball and he's tough as nails. Save your body for the NFL young man

I feel like the winner of the B12 champ game will jump them due to an extra ranked win. Boise will play some slappy for their champ game, I like to think we’d pass them
They would either play a playoff top 25 team in UNLV or Colorado State right?

Yeah that's a good point. Idk maybe I'm just too optimistic thinking the committee will do the right thing

Yeah, I think the big 12 first round bye chances are down to Boise slipping up against Oregon State or in MWC champ game.

That was "fun" to type.

In an even darker thought and scenario... might be rooting against BSU or Tulane just for a big 12 team to even make the playoffs.

I think its all but guaranteed to be Boise St. vs UNLV in the Mountain West championship game. That is assuming UNLV beats a bad Nevada team this week. I wouldn't at all sleep on UNLV beating Boise in that game, the first meeting was close with Boise St. scoring a fourth quarter touchdown to win it.

Yep, and if people have been paying attention Boise State has not been playing well for about the last month and Jeanty is banged up right now.

If Boise plays one of the regular top 5 teams with that talent it’s going to be a slaughter. The talent disparity is that great
Nothing is certain until the game is played. The 12-team play-off was obviously about money, but the theoretical justification was to get representation from more parts of the NCAA football universe. There's a reason why they don't just have an 8-team bracket with the top 4 from the Big 2 conferences.

Yeah, and that reason is to avoid being sued into oblivion.

Why doesn’t he just quit now then? Save his body from this Saturday. Same with Arizona State and BYU players.

Because it’s still the regular season and these guys are competitors. Skipping an exhibition a month after the season ends, cool. Don’t skip the season (which these guys aren’t)

Not to mention all these schools still have a shot to get to the B12 championship

Well we're lucky they're not in the SEC so they'll get that "good loss" bump
But I was told the committee wouldn’t punish teams for losing conference championships games ….

Oh, they meant they wouldn’t punish Ohio State/Georgia/Oregon/Texas for losing championship games, my bad, everybody else better suck it up and win if they want the few non-SEC/B1G playoff crumbs ..
