ISU and Oklahoma upset?

I’m just glad to see Flowers gone. He killed us the last 3 years.

Are you thinking of someone else? Dmitri Flowers graduated in 2017 and only ran for 1 yard in a home loss to us. In 2016, he ran for 115, but I don't show him with any other stats against us.

*edit, as Al pointed out, he did quite a bit of damage on receptions.

I don't see how Oklahoma upsets us this year..

This deserves a "winner" response in so many ways!

Weren't we favored in, like, 10 games last year? Had to have been an all time high

I remember being favored at Baylor and at Kansas State. Probably at home to Iowa and Okie Lite too

Their defense is usually porous and with a raw QB, we should be able to beat any spread that Vegas comes up with. Just hope I get to attend.

He caught a bunch of passes in that game, I think. Might have scored a couple TDs through the air, IIRC.

Good call. I thought it was weird looking at his running attempts since I seemed to remember him being a bigger PITA. I forgot how often they dumped it off to him and made our DBs have to bring him down. He did a lot of damage on those.

Yeah, for some reason I thought that he played in 2018, but I guess not. That little dump pass to him just killed our defense.

Bleacher Report has ISU-OU as one of its upset possibilities for 2020' although it said with the last 3 times we played them we were tough opponents. Said ISU might be favored by Vegas(f###ing unbelievable). I'm drinking the koolaid and wearing my mask so it can happen.

I told myself no Kool-aid this season but man I am drinking a lot of Kool-aid. I've got Cyclones mask, my hand sanitizer and Citriodiol so I am ready.

If we end up being favored, or even a pick em, that sounds like a great opportunity to put a ton of money on OU.... and then it's a win-win no matter what happens.
I do this a lot. Takes the sting out of losing a game and I don't mind losing money if we win an important game. I don't wager a "ton" of money on these.

You might want to look up the definition of a “win-win”.

A “win-win” would be the Cyclones being favored, putting a ton of money on ISU--and having them cover.

You’re just looking at “a win either way”, which I am long past settling for under Matt Campbell. At this point, betting against ISU when they’re favored and trying to call an ensuing loss a “win“ is kinda pathetic.

Edit: Maybe “outmoded” is a better word. Kinda like “moral victories”. They just don’t apply to Matt Campbell’s program.

I think you are overanalyzing this. I'm sure he knows ISU winning AND winning the bet is better.
